Our History
Established in 1957 by Elwood Clifton Burlingham, the office was moved to its current location in 1965. In 1973, Rand Burlingham joined Elwood Burlingham, until Rand’s retirement in December of 2018 after 50 years of practice, first in litigation and later focused on real estate, wills and estates. Rand was joined by his wife, Cheryl Cuelenaere who had a thriving family law practice until her retirement in 2009.
Today our firm consists of one full time lawyer namely, Sharla Haggett, as well as a number of experienced support staff. As a small office we try to maintain a good relationship and good communication with our clients so that you understand your options, know what is happening with your matter, and are aware of what you can expect in the future.
